November 12, 2008
Many people worry about what they should write on a business blog. They often make the mistake of assuming they have to constantly add deep and meaningful content. Whilst that would be great if you were a rocket scientist or mathematician, most blog visitors are just looking for short, sharp tips and advice to solve their problems.
In general, when people seek in-depth help, they tend to buy a book, or sign up for a course on that subject. So if you offer an in-depth service, consider writing an Ebook or designing an E-course, then direct your visitors to the sales page (one for each product) from your short blog posts. Remember, a confused mind never buys.
On a business blog visitors expect to find a collection of short entries providing good quality information, advice and tips to make their life easier. Read more

Internet Marketing Blogging Tips
October 15, 2008
While many thought blogging was a passing fad, it’s now obvious that blogging is a practice that is here to stay as a powerful Web 2.0 marketing and traffic-generation toolset - and marketers are definitely profiting from their blogging efforts. Blogs are especially attractive to Internet marketers, for a variety of reasons.
First, installing and operating a blog is very simple. There is no need to learn HTML, and you can have a blog set up and operating in a matter of minutes. For popular blog software, such as WordPress, there are numerous templates available all over the Internet to help you make your blog attractive. And most professional hosting sites offer almost instant WordPress installation through Fantastico in your cPanel options.
You can blog even if you don’t have your own website, by using a hosted blog such as that found at Blogger. However, you should ideally set your blog up on its own domain, with a professional domain name and webhosting.
Blogs are especially important for search engine optimization purposes. When you add a blog post to your blog, simply include a link or two to your main website that your blog pertains to - over time link to both the homepage and at least a few of the main interior pages of the site. This adds inbound links for your website, and may help to boost your rankings in the search engines. Be sure your blog template includes an appropriate robots meta-tag or use a ‘Do Follow’ blog plug-in though, or you may be wasting your time. Read more
Tips For Bloggers

Write the Best Possible Content even if it is not every day Writing often is advice that most bloggers come across on other sites. The reason why it is popular advice is due to the fact that it is based on the assumption that posting often demonstrates that you are committed to what you do. This results in visitors and readers coming back to your blog to see and read about what you’re up to. Posting too often may sometimes have the opposite effect. Visiting a blog for the second time, readers might be looking for the same post to re-read or something similar. Forcing your readers to go through a bunch of new posts, 1, 2 sometimes 3 a day might be a deterring factor. In these cases I will just use a search engine to find what I am looking for. Furthermore, the 2nd and 3rd posts of the day are usually of lesser quality due to writers fatigue and therefore less interesting. Instead of posting several times a day just post once a day or just whenever you think you have something interesting or useful to write about.
Put some though in your posts, give your readers a reason to come back and always avoid bombarding them with clutter. Focus your effort on a few good topics. Optimize your Blog for Search Engines Most bloggers out there start blogging the wrong way. After they start blogging they do so by relying primarily on social networks for traffic. Social network traffic is great but it rarely converts into money. The best traffic to make money is search engine traffic. A blogging tip everyone should get a chance to read and re-read is that search engine traffic will be the most profitable kind. Read more
