A cheaper plan doesn’t always mean a lower quality service. The most common way for a web host to offer a cheap web hosting plan is to increase volume and store more sites. Typically, the more people that are sharing the cost of the server, the lower the price for everyone. The web host doesn’t have to skimp on add-ons or email capabilities or site building tools to lower their cost as their cost is fixed.
Of course, some cheap web hosting plans are just that, cheap. Some are from untested companies that offer little to no customer support and no guarantee that your data will be kept safe or even accessible 24/7.
