Want increase your website traffic? What kind traffic do you need? Traffic (or web site traffic) is the term used to describe the amount of user activity on a web site. It is driving visitors to your web site. Having more traffic means you increase online traffic to your web site. Increased online traffic means more possibility of sales.

Therefore, the secret to your online success is to ensure that there is increased online traffic coming to your site, attracted by your offer to the solutions to the visitors’ problems.

Targeted and Non-Targeted Traffic

There is a distinction between different types of traffic. “Targeted” traffic refers to those who are already interested in what you have to say  they are almost at the stage where they are pre-sold. “Non-targeted” traffic comes to your site as a result of non-targeted marketing they are not interested with your business and they rarely stay around to do business with you.

I don’t believe in buying “guaranteed traffic.” Why? In my first week in the internet business, I have more than 1,000 lists in my opt-in website but I couldn’t sell them anything! What good does it do? People who get traffics from guaranteed traffic who then join their program, 99% of them will drop within 1-2 months. Why spending money buying guaranteed traffic to increase online traffic? I want you to be smart in investing your money.

You don’t want just to increase online traffic but you want to increase online targeted traffic — which means people who respond to your ads, articles, forums, etc. The increased online traffic then consists of these people who have interests in your business at the first place. At the end, you must sell to them to earn commission. Therefore, if you increase online traffic, you could earn more commission. You need to understand more about traffics.

Free and Paid Traffics

Free Traffics — You cannot see the results of your traffics (i.e. increased online traffic) right away. It takes time. It requires more work like writing articles and joining forums to increase online traffic. However, it is great for long term benefits. The increased online traffic will still know who you are even after few months or years later.

Paid Traffics — You will see the results of your traffic immediately. Once you place a pay per click advertisement with the budget, you do not need to do much. The increased online traffic is only a short term benefit. The moment your ad is out, people do not know you anymore.

I suggest combining both free and paid traffics to increase online traffic so you secure both short and long term benefits. You need immediate results to boost your motivation and you also need long term traffic to keep your business going.
